We recently published an article evaluating the effects of concentration averaging on domestic well samples *found by clicking here*. Authors: Mark Higgins, Gary Robbins, and Meredith Metcalf.

Through the use of conceptual models and confirmatory testing, we determined that concentrations can vary significantly when sampling open borehole wells and we evaluated how different factors may affect concentrations. This can hopefully aid in improving sampling protocols in the future.

If you have taken the EPOC course on overcoming domestic well sampling issues that Gary Robbins and I have offered in the past, you might recognize some of the discussion points and figures.
