Verifications and Audits

Continuing Education Credits (CECs):

This is a new course being offered for the first time. The CT State Board of Examiners of Environmental Professionals has approved this course for 8 hours of continuing education credits (CTLEP-441).

Time and Location: 

This seminar will be held on September 14, 2017 and runs from 8 AM - 5 PM at the CTCPA Education Center, 716 Brook Street, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067. For google map of location, see: https://goo.gl/maps/FFNLMU2HSpR2.

Please arrive by 7:30 AM for registration. A continental breakfast and lunch will be served.

Connecticut DEEP:

Course Description:

The morning session (4 hours) will be Presentations and Discussions on:
  • All types of verifications and the applicability I nuance of each type;
  • Documentation expectations for Verifications;
  • The processing and screening of verifications;
  • The selection of verifications for Audit; and
  • The Audit process.

The afternoon session (4 hours) will case study audits to be completed by each course attendee. After each case study scenario, there will be discussion on the results of the scenario audits. The results and implications of the audits will then be discussed as a whole.
