YEP Technical Event: Drilling Overview and Field Demonstration

Course Agenda:

Discussion covering the various types of drilling rigs utilized in the environmental industry (ie. Direct Push, HSA, Sonic);

• Benefits and disadvantages of different drilling methods for diverse subsurface materials;
• Comparison of soil collection methods pros and cons; and,
• Visual observation of different drilling rigs in action.

INSTRUCTOR:

Mark Schock is a licensed driller with Glacier Drilling in Durham, CT has been involved in the environmental/geotechnical drilling field for over 25 years. Mark will be the principal presenter of the program with assistance from Glacier Drilling staff.
